Returns & Exchanges

We want you to love your purchase from Born Maternity. If for any reason an item isn’t quite right, you’re welcome to return it within 30 days for an exchange, replacement, or refund of the purchase price.

Please note: Postage and handling charges are non-refundable. Returns received after 30 days may still be considered for an exchange or refund at our discretion.

How to Return or Exchange an Item

To initiate a return, please contact us at enquire@bornmaternity.com.au with the following details:

• Your order number

• Product name

• Reason for return

• Request type (exchange, replacement, or refund)

We’ll provide return instructions and the correct return address.

Return Conditions

Returned items must be in their original sale condition — unused, unwashed, and with all original packaging, tags, and labels attached. Please repackage your return with care to ensure it arrives in a resalable condition.

In-Person Purchases (Markets & Pop-Ups)

For purchases made at markets or pop-up events:

• A receipt is required for refunds.

• Without a receipt, proof of purchase is required and exchange only will be offered.

Non-Returnable Items

Certain items are not eligible for return or refund, including:

• Perishable goods (e.g. food or lactation cookies)

• Intimate or sanitary products

• Health and personal care items (if opened or unsealed)

• Gift cards or vouchers

Refunds & Damaged Items

Refunds will be processed back to your original payment method.

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please email us at enquire@bornmaternity.com.au before returning it. We’ll advise the next steps, as some items may need to be handled directly by the manufacturer for warranty or quality control purposes.
