What makes Born Maternity clothing feeding-friendly?
Our breastfeeding clothing is designed by a mum who understands feeding on the go. Do you offer plus size maternity clothes?
Yes! At Born Maternity, we’re all about size inclusivity. Our range includes sizes 8 to 22 in many of our most popular styles including jumpers, hoodies, dresses and tees. We want every mum to feel confident and comfortable, whatever her size or stage of motherhood.
Can I wear Born Maternity after pregnancy?
Absolutely. Most of our pieces are designed to be worn bump, breastfeeding and beyond. That means you can keep wearing them well into mum life whether you’re nursing, bottle feeding, chasing toddlers or simply want something comfy and easy to throw on. Think soft fabrics, flattering fits and styles you’ll want to live in.
How fast is shipping across Australia?
We aim to get your order on the road within 1–2 business days. We use Australia Post with tracked shipping, so you’ll know exactly where your parcel is. Standard shipping usually takes 2–8 business days depending on your location, and express options are available if you need it faster. We’re based in Shepparton, VIC, so regional VIC orders often arrive nice and quickly too.
Are your lactation cookies dairy free?
Our Biscoff and Oreo flavours (made by Crumbs & Co.) are dairy free and still absolutely delicious. They’re made with ingredients commonly used in lactation cookies, like brewer’s yeast and oats, and baked in small batches with care. If you’ve got allergies or intolerances, please check the ingredient list before ordering.
Where can I try on your clothes in person?
We regularly pop up at local markets and baby expos across Victoria follow us on Facebook and Instagram to see where we’ll be next. You can also book an appointment to shop in person from our Shepparton home base. We love meeting our customers and helping you find the right fit.
Can I return items if they don’t fit?
Yes, we offer easy returns. If your item doesn’t fit or just isn’t quite right, you can send it back within 60 days of receiving it for an exchange, store credit or refund. The item must be unworn, unwashed and in original condition. We want you to feel confident and comfortable in every piece, it’s all part of the Born Maternity experience.
How do I choose the right size?
Our styles are generally designed to fit your usual pre pregnancy size, with stretchy bump friendly fabrics to grow with you. Each product page includes a sizing guide and fit notes, and we’re always happy to help if you’re unsure. Born Maternity’s founder wears a size 16-18 and personally tries on our pieces to help ensure they work for fuller figures too. You can always message us for real life sizing advice.
Do you offer gift vouchers?
Yes, we do. A Born Maternity gift voucher is a thoughtful, practical gift for any mum or mum-to-be. Available in a range of amounts, they’re perfect for baby showers, new mum gifts or when you’re not quite sure on size or style. Vouchers are digital and delivered to your inbox. Easy.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. If you're outside Australia, just contact us before placing your order so we can calculate the shipping cost for your location. We’ll find the best available rate and get your order on its way.
What’s the best clothing for breastfeeding in winter?
Our zip access jumpers and hoodies are winter favourites. They’re warm, easy to feed in (even one-handed) and they don’t look like “breastfeeding clothes” just cosy, practical and stylish pieces for everyday wear. Many styles are available in sizes 8–22, so you can stay comfortable and covered through the cooler months.
